Dinner becomes one of the final chapters of the day, in a welcoming space where flavour intertwines with conversation.

Beyond our windows lies Bormio — an alpine town in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, where life still follows the rhythm of the seasons. We are at 1,200 metres, yet a single cable car ride takes you up to 3,000: glaciers, bright ridgelines, air that grows thinner and clearer, horizons that open wide. The mountain offers space — to move, to discover, to be together.
After a day in the mountains, you return to your room. A warm shower eases the tiredness; the window is opened and you pause for a moment. The quiet indoors gently replaces the movement outside, like turning the pages of a book as the pace slows.
Later, the bar offers an aperitif or a cup of tea before dinner, and in the warmer months you may sit in the garden a little longer, as the evening light fades over the valley.

“The most amazing place to stay in Bormio with the best views and fabulous service. The whole Cantoni family who own the hotel are a delight. The most helpful family and for us who do not speak great Italian their English is perfect. Their service is amazing. The rooms are immaculately clean and the views spectacular. We were welcomed in by the Cantoni family with open arms and treated to the most amazing week! The hotel itself is beautiful and feels like a home away from home! The food is absolutely delicious and the waiters are so friendly and professional. The location of the hotel is ideal, being only a short walk from the centre of the town.
