Beyond our windows is Bormio, an Alpine town within the Stelvio National Park, where life continues to follow the seasons. We sit at 1,200 metres, yet in little more than a cable car ride you find yourself at 3,000 — among glaciers and high ridgelines, where the air feels lighter and the view stretches further than expected. Up here, the mountains offer space: to move, to explore, or simply to spend time together.
After a day in the mountains, you return to your room. A warm shower eases the tiredness; the window is open and you pause for a moment. The quiet indoors gently replaces the movement outside, like turning the pages of a book as the pace slows.
Later, the bar offers an aperitif or a cup of tea before dinner, and in the warmer months you may sit in the garden a little longer, as the evening light fades over the valley.

We were welcomed in by the Cantoni family with open arms and treated to the most amazing week! The hotel itself is beautiful and feels like a home away from home!
